Irene N. Schneider - Justice For Injured Working Americans We
were very lucky. And we thank God for it every day since. Even though I have major
permanent damage and disability along with continuing pain, we by chance did not loose a
member of our family to the hands of an insane firearm owner. It is miserable to use the
word lucky in relation with being assaulted and shot by an insane gun owner in the
supposedly most advanced society on our planet. These pages were created and are
maintained by a mother and her family who are victims of a violent crime. As the webmaster
and her husband, I am supporting her and I defend the humanitarian, social principles, and
rules of conduct described on this site. Even though we are victims, my family and I are
not supporting to forbidding guns.

Workplace violent crimes When, in a nation under God, an
insane gun owner can shoot a working mother of four children under the name of freedom,
there is something immoral with the priorities of that nation. Consequently, evil wins and
the good looses. For the good to win, all corrupted issues have to be addressed on the
same morality platform. Some groups operate by eliminating the faith of the people in
their government. We must pressure the government to maintain our protection at work, at
school, at home and in the streets. The influence of big money is a corrosive force in our
Facts about US violent crimes Americans and their guns, handguns
and violence. The imprisonment approach is fine and helps tremendously, but the huge
disadvantage is that is takes effect after the crime has been done. Prevention is better
than reaction, surviving victims and their families can confirm that.

Irene N. Schneider - Moms Marching Against Gun Violence My
family and I thank the organizers of the MMM for letting our voices be heard. We are
thankful to all the people who came the MMM march for their support. I was the previous
Million Mom March coordinator. I had to suspend my position as coordinator to be able to
go back to my family life. The Million Mom March was a success. It is sad that we have to
do such thing to be heard by our lawmakers. I wish that they will now take the matter
seriously and find an honest compromise that will satisfy both sides of the issue. These
problems are very serious problems, we have to keep talking about it until our nation's
crime rate is low and stays low. Our goal cannot be anything else than the lowest crime
rate of all industrialized nations.
My family and I thank the organizers of the MMM for letting our voices be heard.
We are thankful to all the people who came the MMM march for their support.
We thank also photographer Robert Drea, and writer Stephanie Arena of woundedinamerica.org for the article on Irene.
Related links against violence We are glad that the first
amendment protects us and it is because of it that we can express ourselves. We also
understand very well that the second amendment is as important and should not be
infringed. Our lawmakers have to procure serious strategies to prevent innocent people to
be hurt. Repetitive failures to protect innocent human lives and to protect people against
assaults are immoral and unacceptable.
