Lowell Barron would like to thank all people that attended the town meetings at Gurley on July 18, 2002.
He was pleased to see constituents, and to visit with those who have made the effort to be a part of the political process and took the time to attend political events in order to make their voice heard.
|
Observation :
As he noted at the meeting "Gurley is a difficult area for me to keep up-to-date on the events and happenings, but I do want each resident to know that I want to hear his or her concerns and do whatever possible to address those issues."
As a result of that meeting, Lowell Barron is now working to aid the town in securing grants for historic preservation and to construct a new recreational area.
|
Your mention :
He has also spoken with state officials regarding quality of life issues that were raised at this meeting.
He hopes to be working closely with the town leaders in the future to continue to improve Gurley.
